Join NYDLC's Voter Registration Action call!

We will discuss several member-proposed voter registration initiatives, open up discussion for new ones, and decide which are most viable to pursue.

       NYDLC members have been asking for more direct ways to get involved with voter registration efforts in New York and across the U.S. The purpose of this call is to explore interest/viability of several proposals that have been raised recently by membership and decide which ones we should prioritize. 

       As a volunteer-driven organization, NYDLC is only limited by our capacity to effectively launch and execute initiatives to improve voter access and participation. We hope you will join the call and help make one or more of these proposals a success!

       2017 is a critical year for Pro-Voter election law reform and modernization in New York and across America. New challenges, like a Justice Department or Supreme Court majority that is hostile to civil rights, make our voting rights advocacy more important than ever. It is also a critical building year for voter expansion and enacting reforms to increase voter access, reduce barriers to participation, and pursue programming that is likely to increase voter engagement/turnout.

       We need your help with ALL of the above!
