Sat. 2/11: RSVP below for NYDLC's 2017 Organizational Retreat

Each election cycle, NYDLC leadership and dedicated members come together for strategic reflection on the health of our voting rights coalition, take stock of existing programming, review past accomplishments, disappointments, and areas for improvement, and discuss the future direction and priorities of our organization.

If you have not yet completed our 2017 Strategic Organizational Survey please take a few minutes before Friday 2/10 at noon to do so here.

All NYDLC members are welcome to attend: To Join NYDLC as a member and pay your 2017 dues, please click here. (NYDLC always provides up to a 100% exemption policy for those unable to pay).

Note: 2017 is an "election year" for NYDLC leadership. Pursuant to NYDLC's Constitution, this meeting will count as a concurrent meeting of the Steering Committee (counts toward NYDLC's attendance policy for election voting purposes). Telephone participation counts for attendance (note: elections will occur at a future 2017 meeting TBD).

Dial-in option: If you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to join by phone. RSVP below and you will be emailed dial-in credentials.

The New York Democratic Lawyers Council (NYDLC) is a coalition of lawyers and voting rights advocates dedicated to fostering universal participation and trust in the electoral process by ensuring that:

  • 1. All eligible persons can register to vote easily;
  • 2. All registered voters are able to vote conveniently, fairly, without intimidation;
  • 3. All voters are counted accurately and all voting systems are open and reliable.
