Join NYDLC's Legislative Affairs and Minority Voting Rights Committees as we travel to Albany for our annual 2016 Pro-Voter Advocacy Day.

Visit the Capital and hone your advocacy skills in meetings with influential lawmakers and legislative staff. Stand up for voting rights by educating our representatives about NYDLC's pro-voter legislative priorities like election modernization, early voting, youth pre-registration, and other important reforms.

For years, NYDLC and good government groups across the state have decried New York's outdated election law. Each election, we witness the consequences of failing to modernize our registration and administration system. Voting should be a convenient and accessible process and voters should be empowered to participate in civil society by casting a ballot that will count.
