Join NYDLC's Law Student Outreach Committee and our network of thousands of progressive lawyers and pro-voter advocates! Learn more About NYDLC and get involved in critical voter empowerment work in New York and across the U.S. This call is appropriate for law students, young lawyers, and pro-voter advocates interested in joining the fight to protect the vote through election monitoring, legislative advocacy, and rights-based educational programming.
2018 is a critical year for election reform and modernization in New York and across America. New challenges, like an administration in Washington that is hostile to civil rights safeguards make our voting rights advocacy more important than ever. It is also a critical building year for voter expansion and enacting reforms to increase voter access, reduce barriers to participation, and pursue programming that is likely to increase voter engagement/turnout in 2018 and beyond, ahead of the next redistricting cycle.
We are happy to have your support with ALL of the above!
Have questions or ideas? Want to host a voting rights panel or event at your law school, firm, or elsewhere? NYDLC has been at this since 2005 and are happy to help!
