NYDLC Minority Voting Rights Committee hosts Voter Reform Workshops throughout New York State.
These include lively, informative discussions on the Voter/Election Reforms that were adopted into law in New York at the beginning of 2019.
Many of these reforms will take effect in the this month, so it is imperative that we inform and educate as many voters as possible about the upcoming changes.
Workshop we discussions touch on the topics of: Early Voting, Electronic Poll Books, Voter Registration Portability, Youth (16-17 year old) Voter Pre-Registration, Consolidated Federal and State Primaries, Parole Voter Restoration (Executive Order) and Affidavit Substantial Compliance.
Would you like to host a workshop in your area, for your community? Please send a request here.
Would you like to become a Workshop Facilitator who manages the outreach in your area, or to your community, in order to empower people to exercise as voters and citizens? We need you on the team! You can sign up to become a facilitator here and a MVRC co-chair will be in touch with you.
